About The Position
The Guild of St. Agnes is the largest early education and care agency in Central MA with a mission to provide families with quality and affordable childcare in a safe and nurturing environment. Join our team where you will make a tremendous impact on children's lives, one that can have a lasting impression! We are currently seeking an Assistant School Age Group Leader for the summer, at our Fitchburg location. This individual will assist with classroom activities, supervise children, and help create a fun and safe environment for our school-age children.
Requirements
- Must be able to commit to M-F 9:30-5:30 pm
- Successfully completed EEC background check
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times, being alert for their needs as individuals and as a group
- Know and maintain child/teacher ratios in compliance with EEC regulations
- Assist in planning developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Maintaining clear, effective and positive communication with children, families, and staff
