About The Position
Assistant Wrestling Coaching position at Declo High School for the Winter 2026-2027 school year. The JV Head Wrestling Coach/Varsity Assistant Coach will work closely with the Head Wrestling Coach to support the overall development and success of the wrestling program.
Requirements
- Must have a working knowledge of the game.
Nice To Haves
- Certified staff preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Varsity Head Coach with daily practices, meet preparation, technique development, conditioning and overall program operations.
- Teach and reinforce proper wrestling fundamentals, techniques, sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and character.
- Ensure student-athletes follow all school, district, conference, and IHSAA rules and expectations.
