About The Position

This position is for an Assistant Wrestling Coach for the 2026-2027 school year at Spanaway Middle School. The role involves supporting the athletic program and demonstrating knowledge of the assigned sport's fundamentals.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm for athletics.
• Current First Aid and C.P.R. card.
• Must be 19 years of age (pursuant to WIAA Regulations).
• Successful coaching experience and training over a period of years.
• Those recommended for hire must attend a training class on Hepatitis B and HIV, receive vaccination for Hepatitis B if necessary, and take the district's class on sexual harassment training.
• Those recommended for hire will be fingerprinted for a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Classroom teacher is preferred but not required.
