About The Position
Penn State Shenango is accepting applications for a part-time assistant coach in the sport of Women's Volleyball. Penn State Shenango is a member of the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) and United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). The Assistant Coach is responsible for supporting the head coach in recruitment and program development which includes fundraising and academic monitoring, practice preparation and game day coaching. Hours vary between off-season and in-season.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of previous coaching experience
- Well versed in the sport of volleyball
- Valid driver’s license
- PA State Police Criminal Background Check
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
- Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
- Successful completion of a motor vehicle records check
Nice To Haves
- College degree (associate’s or bachelor’s) is preferred
