About The Position

Join us as an Assistant Wellness Director and play an integral role in ensuring quality healthcare for our residents. Under the direction of the Wellness Director, your dedication will support residents' daily living activities while fostering independence. This role is a Steward of Health and Wellness within the Double Creek Assisted Living community in Round Rock, TX.

Requirements

• Background in senior care, preferably in a wellness or medication management capacity.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results within necessary time frames.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as the role demands.
• Ability to handle details with urgency, accuracy, and efficiency, supported by proficiency in various computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain staffing and scheduling utilizing modern staffing software; assist with recruitment and training to ensure a robust healthcare team.
• Complete comprehensive assessments and individualized care plans, emphasizing personalized wellness.
• Liaise with internal staff and external third-party vendors to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Lead monthly staff meetings and daily team huddles, cultivating an environment of continuous learning and collaboration.
• Manage service agreements, update physician orders, and maintain Electronic Medication Administration Records (EMAR).
• Perform weekly cart audits, Medication Administration Record (MAR) reviews, and expired medication retrieval.
• Assist with incident reports and investigations, ensuring adherence to best practices in senior care.
• Other duties as assigned.
