About The Position

Technica LLC seeks to fill the position of Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) Assistant Supervisor on a government contract with a place of performance at the ASP located in the McGregor Range, New Mexico area under Ft. Bliss, TX contract. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Ensure successful completion of all mission operations in accordance with established policies and management goals regarding funding, storage, workload, manpower capability, component, issue, equipment items, and inventory control Performs employee discipline counseling, employee performance reviews, and other personnel Reviews and approves Screen applicants and conducts physical interviews for open Ensures all employees observe policy, procedures and regulatory guidance for explosive safety and physical security, and monitors for compliance. Ensure all employees participate in OJT training, work instruction, workload, lesson learned meetings, and training when/where required and sign on sign in sheets. Ensure all employees participate in quarterly retraining of ASP ISOP, ASP ESOP, regulation policies, directives, and Meet with Leads on daily basis to ensure communication and task of workload, priorities, discrepancies, and Assist ASP Supervisor with the accountability of personnel and Assist ASP Supervisor to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly reports are completed by assigned ASP personnel in a timely manner, assist with review and submission to higher authority. Coordinates with government offices, contractors, and third-party vendors to coordinate material shipments, pick-ups, and recycling operations.

Requirements

  • Must have at least five years of supervisory experience and a comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures and instructions in supply/ASP management.
  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the applicable supply and equipment management processes, related regulations and is required to ensure effective accountability of all assigned property.
  • Must possess operational skill and knowledge of the automated systems
  • Must meet the requirements of AMC-R 350-4, Appendix B, and be capable of being appointed as an
  • Obtain and maintain a SECRET security
  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a valid state driver's license.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Must be a US Citizen to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.
  • Must have completed and/or must complete Ammo 10, 28, 31, 45, 51, 54, 63, 64, 67, 68, 75, 76, 78, 97, 107, 108, 112, and Pack1A and must complete the courses within 30 days of receiving CAC (Common Access Card).

Nice To Haves

  • Must be computer literate and have experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Power Point and Word) and Adobe.
  • Must be physically and mentally capable of handling ammunition and explosives (A&E).
  • Should have 2 years' experience in Munitions History program (MHP), Standard Army Ammunition System (SAAS), and Total Ammunitions Management Information System (TAMIS) systems.
  • Must assist be familiar with 49 CFR, DTR 4500.9-R, DESR 6055-09, DODD 6055-16, DA PAM 385-64, DA Pam 700-16, DA Pam 742-1, DA Pam 700-107, AR 190-11, AR 385-10, AR 700-28, AR 190-11, AMC-R 350-4, and MIL-STD-129R.
  • Must have experience in federal compatibility charts for both storage and highway travel.
  • Must have at least 3 years' experience in vehicle inspection and the DD Form 626 process.
