About The Position

Priority Wire & Cable is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and coordinate distribution facility operations in compliance with company policies and regulations. The company is a veteran hiring advocate and welcomes candidates with relevant military experience in supply chain, logistics, and warehouse inventory management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience
  • 4-5 years warehouse experience; wire distribution experience preferred.
  • Proficient Math Skills.
  • Proficient Computer skills and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
  • Ability to use sit down forklifts, dollies, and other equipment to move product within the facility
  • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task, with attention to detail
  • Work at a fast pace and be flexible to work overtime as needed
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job due to its in-person work requirement.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work, whether that be public transportation or a personal vehicle.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant military experience in supply chain, logistics and warehouse inventory management
  • Wire distribution experience preferred
  • Previous Wire & Cable experience is a plus
