About The Position
The Assistant Manager (AM) is pivotal in supporting the Vocational Manager (VM) with a variety of tasks to ensure the vocational location meets the expectations of Integrated Life Choices (ILC) and the regulations set forth by the respective state. This position will also support people in residential settings, teaching activities of daily living, social skills, and other skills necessary for independent living.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Successfully complete and pass all checks including: Nebraska Child/Adult Protective Services Central Registry check
- Criminal background check
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Reliable vehicle at every shift
Responsibilities
- Support the day to day employment activities of job coaches of persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
- Assist with finding employment opportunities for people ILC supports
- Ensure documentation occurs and programming is meeting requirements
- Teaching employment concepts, supervising individual activities necessary for fulfilling employment
- Teaching activities of daily living, social skills, and other skills necessary for independent living.
