About The Position

The Assistant Visual Manager supports the Visual Manager in the showroom and helps maintain high visual standards while presenting Arhaus products. The role provides opportunities to develop merchandising skills and gain experience with the Arhaus brand. Responsibilities also include completing weekly store transfers and working with management to maintain satisfactory inventory levels. The position is for a new store opening at Bridgeport Village in Tigard, Oregon.

Requirements

• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Clear communication with other departments and ability to cross-collaborate as needed.
• Openness to feedback and new ways of working.
• Comfort working with wall finishes, including wallpaper and faux finishing.
• Willingness to work extended hours as needed.
• Ability to move furniture independently around the showroom and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate most building tools and equipment.
• Comfort using a ladder to hang art and chandeliers, place furniture, and complete other projects.
• Intermediate computer literacy.
• College degree or job experience in a related field such as merchandising, floral design, graphic design, or set/stage design.

Responsibilities

• Support the Visual Manager in the showroom.
• Maintain high visual standards and create an appealing setting to display products.
• Complete weekly store transfers.
• Work with management to ensure inventory is maintained at satisfactory levels.
• Care for live plants in the showroom and create floral displays as needed.
• Travel as needed, including for store openings.
