About The Position

Nemours Children's Health is seeking an experienced and visionary Assistant Vice President, Surgical Services to lead growth, innovation, and operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of pediatric surgical specialties. This executive leader will partner with physicians, hospital leadership, and external partners to expand access, drive market growth, enhance patient outcomes, and build the next generation of surgical services across the Delaware Valley. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will shape regional surgical strategy and service line growth, lead high-impact program expansion initiatives across multiple specialties, partner directly with renowned pediatric surgeons and physician leaders, drive operational, financial, and clinical excellence, and influence the future of pediatric healthcare for children and families.

Requirements

• Master's degree required; healthcare administration or business-related graduate degree preferred.
• Significant healthcare operations and service line leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in perioperative services, ambulatory surgery, and complex healthcare operations preferred.
• Proven success leading large-scale growth initiatives, physician partnerships, and organizational transformation.
• Strong financial, strategic planning, and change management capabilities.
