About The Position

Australian Venue Co. is on the hunt for an Assistant Venue Manager to join the leadership team across our incredible venues in Albury! This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a progressive AVM role with exposure across multiple venues, including: Beer Deluxe Albury, Birallee Tavern, Albion Hotel, The Bended Elbow. You'll be part of a dynamic and supportive team, with the opportunity to grow your career under experienced leaders and contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences across a variety of venues.

Requirements

  • Proven hospitality management experience in a comparable venue
  • A passion for the industry and commitment to a successful career in hospitality
  • Capacity to work in a team environment while leading from the front
  • Experience in developing and executing operational procedures
  • Exceptional customer service and presentation skills
  • Extensive restaurant and bar experience
  • Ability to train and develop staff to ensure a consistently amazing customer experience
  • Ensuring policies, procedures and standards are current, effective and clearly communicated
  • Current RSA
  • Desire to expand your skillset under the guidance of the Venue Manager
  • Strong financial skills and compliance focus
