Assistant Varsity Cross Country Coach (SY 2026 - 2027)
About The Position
Episcopal High School is seeking candidates to serve as an Assistant Varsity Cross Country Coach for the fall 2026 season. This position is a part-time, seasonal, stipended staff position beginning Sunday, August 23, 2026. The successful candidate will understand, appreciate, and capitalize on the role that athletics play in helping students learn to build together, work together, and achieve together, from a range of backgrounds, perspectives, and identities. The successful candidate will also further develop that understanding and appreciation in their athletes. Episcopal has a rich academic and athletic tradition and is deeply committed to seeing athletics as a crucial classroom in which our students strive for excellence and develop as healthy, determined, collaborative, and ethical leaders for the future.
Requirements
- Previous competitive running experience is preferred.
- Previous coaching experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in coaching the varsity cross country team for the fall 2026 season.
- Foster an understanding and appreciation of the role of athletics in student development.
- Help athletes build, work, and achieve together, embracing diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and identities.
- Develop athletes into healthy, determined, collaborative, and ethical leaders.
