About The Position
This position is for an Assistant Varsity Cross Country Coach at Churchland High School. The coach will be responsible for assisting the head coach in managing the cross country program, adhering to VHSL rules, and promoting good sportsmanship.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of the rules and skills in cross country.
- Program centered approach.
- Specific skills in the sport.
- Exhibits good sportsmanship.
- Knowledge of VHSL rules.
- Ability to work well with children.
- Must submit a standard on-line application.
- Must submit two letters of reference.
- Must submit a recent TB test or screening.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year of coaching experience as an Assistant or Head Coach.
- Previously competed at the college level, club team or professional level.
