Assistant Tubing Park Manager
About The Position
Manage day-to-day operations of the snow tubing park ensuring a fun, safe and well-organized guest experience. This role involves assisting with scheduling, interviewing, and training staff. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for ensuring all tubing equipment is properly maintained and inspected, enforcing safety standards and guest conduct policies, and monitoring guest flow to optimize the tubing experience. They will also respond to guest and employee concerns, incidents, and emergencies, and utilize the ticketing platform for sales, cash drawer management, and employee check-out reports. The position requires flexibility to work in various roles within the park, including operating the lift, managing guest spacing, dispatching guests, controlling traffic, and working the ticket window.
Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk, stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience managing a team is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Driver's license and reliable mode of transportation
- Prior experience working outside and/or working in a customer-facing role
- Open availability during all holiday periods, which includes December 19th - January 3rd, January 16th -18th, and February 13th - 21st
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the snow tubing park ensuring a fun, safe and well-organized guest experience
- Assist in scheduling, interviewing and training as needed
- Ensure all tubing equipment including tubes, tow conveyors, mats and safety netting is properly maintained and inspected
- Enforce safety standards and guest conduct policies
- Monitor and adjust guest flow, capacity, and wait times to optimize the tubing experience
- Respond promptly to guest and employee concerns, incidents and emergencies within the tubing park
- Utilize our ticketing platform to sell tickets, manage a cash drawer and do employee check-out reports
- Work in any and all roles at the snow tubing park, including running the lift, spacing guests at the bottom of the lift, sending guests down the hill, controlling traffic at the bottom of the hill and running the ticket window
