Assistant Transportation Supervisor
About The Position
The Assistant Transportation Supervisor monitors Class A Delivery Driver hours and oversees the route of field Delivery Drivers and tracks delivery status of products. As an Assistant Transportation Supervisor, you will perform driver check-ins and data entry. You will manage a high volume of inbound calls for both emergency and non-emergency situations, potentially dispatch replacement drivers, and handle issuing and collecting keys. Collaborate across the Transport and Warehouse Operations teams to ensure alignment with the loading of trailers for on-time delivery to customers. Manage and achieve key performance metrics that demonstrate the effectiveness of the department and alignment to corporate objectives. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 0 to 1 plus years of related experience
