About The Position
Engineering Firm seeks an experienced Assistant Transportation Project Manager to plan and manage Civil Engineering Construction Projects. This is a Full-time Permanent Position with Benefits located in the Columbus / Newark, Ohio area.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Experience overseeing the following projects: Highway / Roadway improvements, roundabouts, traffic signals, highway lighting, multi-use trails, sidewalks, transportation planning, streetscape, storm sewer systems, and culverts.
- Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
- Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
Responsibilities
- Supervise associates by providing ongoing direction specific to project tasks, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
- Assign work to staff & sub-contractors, monitor project budgets, review invoicing, establish and monitoring quality requirements.
- Provide mentorship and manage the performance activities of Staff Members
- Prepare and submit proposals / contracts, determine project requirements, budget, deliverables, and scope based upon client requirements
- Follow the company's QA/QC Performance Standards
