Your Role on Our Team: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Design Trainer to be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering effective training programs that enhance employee performance and support organizational goals. This role combines instructional design principles with facilitation skills to create engaging learning experiences across various formats, including classroom, virtual, and digital learning. You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in instructional design and training facilitation.
  • Experience with LMS
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design models
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze training effectiveness using data and feedback

Responsibilities

  • Training Program and Content Development: Analyze learning needs and performance gaps to design targeted training solutions.
  • Develop instructional materials including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, eLearning modules, and assessments.
  • Planned continuous improvements to training programs and individual training plans based on assessments, manager & peer feedback, and job performance.
  • Apply adult learning theories and instructional design models to create effective learning experiences.
  • Collaboration: Partner with SMEs (Service Managers, Technical Trainers, Engineering, Product Marketing) to ensure training content is accurate and aligned with business objectives.
  • Gather feedback and continuously improve training programs based on learner performance and evaluations.
  • Technology & Tools: Utilize authoring tools (AI) and Learning Management Systems (LMS - LearnTTI, BlueVolt, HQMS) to develop and manage training content.
  • Leverage multimedia tools to enhance training materials with video, audio, and interactive elements.
  • Training Delivery: Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for employees across departments.
  • Adapt delivery style to meet the needs of diverse learners and environments for Customer Service, Technical Service, and Technical Repair Technicians.
  • Provide coaching and support to learners during and after training sessions.
  • General: React to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels in the organization
  • Travel required, approximately 20%-25% of time
