About The Position

Reporting directly to the Head Track and Field Coach, you'll join a healthy, collaborative team dynamic alongside other coaches and colleagues across campus. Your primary athletic focus will be leading and developing our horizontal jumps program. Unique to this role, you'll also serve an auxiliary function for the broader athletic department by overseeing the daily operations, programming, and student staffing of the Student Recreation Center (SRC). In this role, you do more than just develop athletic talent; you play a vital part in Bethel’s mission to educate and equip students in a Christ-centered community. As a member of our coaching staff, you serve as a minister of the gospel by mentoring student-athletes to grow whole and holy—spiritually, academically, and athletically. Typically, days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with the expectation to work specific schedules and hours as identified and communicated by management. Frequent evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This is a 40 hour per week, 12 months per year position.
