About The Position

Penn State Scranton, a member of the Penn State University Athletic Conference, is accepting applications for a Part-Time Track and Field Assistant Coach within the Department of Athletics. The Assistant Coach is responsible for practice preparation, player development, game day coaching and recruiting and supervising both player personnel under the head coach. Additionally, the Assistant Coach must be well versed in Track and Field with previous coaching experience preferred. Hours are primarily in-season with a requirement for recruiting in the off-season. This position requires strict adherence to PSUAC, USCAA and NCAA Division III rules. Requirements

• Well versed in Track and Field
• Previous coaching experience preferred
• Strict adherence to PSUAC, USCAA and NCAA Division III rules
• Valid driver’s license
• Successful completion of a motor vehicle records check
• PA State Police Criminal Background Check
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
• Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
