Little Legends Learning Center, Inc in Champaign, IL is looking to hire a full-time Assistant Toddler Daycare Teacher to help provide exceptional childcare for toddler aged kiddos. Requirements

• 1+ years of child development experience in a preschool, kindergarten, or licensed daycare
• 3 written references
• CPR/first aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Gateways to Opportunity membership or willingness to join upon hire
• Food handler certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to submit to a physical
• Must be able to pass a background check and a physical.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical classroom support for lead teachers.
• Assist lead teacher with writing age-appropriate curriculum.
• Prepare materials for lesson plans and activities.
• Keep children on-task and on the classroom schedule.
• Assist children with daily activities like hand washing, dressing, potty training, and diaper changing.
• Prepare snacks and lunches for the kids, strictly following all dietary restrictions.
• Clean the room and sanitize all toys and commonly touched surfaces.
• Keep daily records for each child.
• Meet with parents to discuss the child's day.
