About The Position

HF Foods Group, Inc. is seeking an Assistant to the General Manager to support daily operations and strategic initiatives. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will assist the General Manager in various administrative and operational tasks, ensuring smooth functioning of the business.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to create and present ideas, reports, and budgets in various formats.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to assign and delegate tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data management systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative or support role, preferably within the food industry or wholesale sector.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English & Mandarin) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager with scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation.
  • Maintain organized files and records.
  • Act as the point of contact between the General Manager and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the team and with clients.
  • Help plan and execute special projects, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
  • Track project progress and report updates to the General Manager.
  • Visit and maintain vendor relationships as needed.
  • Assist in the coordination of daily operations, including inventory management, supplier relations, invoice reconciliation and logistics.
  • Help troubleshoot operational issues as they arise.
  • Negotiate appropriate contracts for pricing and supply.
  • Analyze potential vendors and suppliers for future project needs.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.
