About The Position

The Ivy Street School is a small, year-round private residential special education school serving neurodiverse adolescents and young adults ages 13–22. We believe every student has the potential to build a life of joy, purpose, independence, and meaningful connection. Our multidisciplinary team creates educational and therapeutic experiences that help students develop the skills they need to transition successfully into adulthood. From the classroom to the residence and throughout the Boston community, our students are constantly learning—and our staff are an important part of that journey. We are looking for an Assistant Therapeutic Community Supervisor who is ready to lead, inspire, and make a difference. As an Assistant Therapeutic Community Supervisor, you will be a key leader within Ivy Street's therapeutic residential community. You will work alongside our residential and clinical teams to create a safe, supportive, structured, and engaging environment where students can learn and grow. This is an active, hands-on leadership position. You'll help students develop independence through everyday experiences, support them with activities of daily living, lead community-based activities, facilitate engaging programming, and help students build the skills they need for adulthood. When the Residential Supervisor is not present, you will lead the residential shift, providing direction and support to the residential team.
