About The Position

We are looking for a Seasonal Assistant Tennis Coach who can deliver high-quality coaching for Junior Tennis Camps teaching [4-12 years old, ROGY balls] at the Menlo Circus Club for the summer season.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of High School or College Tennis Team or equivalent experience.
• Able to regularly play tennis and practice hitting/playing sessions. Including jogging and running.
• Work performed outdoors in varying and occasionally extreme (hot) weather conditions.
• Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel, climb, lift, balance, and stretch.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Coaching all ages and all levels, inspiring and guiding kids toward a positive tennis experience
• Able to effectively interact with children of all ages and their parents/grandparents/guardians
• Foster a vibrant and active community among our members and their guests
• Preparation of tennis courts for lessons and maintaining high-quality instruction
• Understanding and following the Policies and Procedures of the Club and Court Sports
• Must demonstrate appropriate skills and have an extensive thorough knowledge of tennis technique, including all strokes, rules, and match play.
• Responsible, reliable, punctual, and a Safety First approach.
