Requirements

  • Associates degree in electronics or equivalent from a two year college or technical school
  • 1-3 years’ experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be fluent and able to read and write English.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as emails, report and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • Moderate computer knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to use mathematics to solve problems.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to problem solve and provide solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills, strict attention to details and ability to multitask and prioritize as necessary, with minimal supervisory direction.
  • Must be flexible in handling multiple tasks.
  • Must work well with others.
  • Willingness to work hard and long hours, when needed.
  • Must be available to work overtime and some Saturdays, as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • PE License a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform work requested on the work order form in accordance with the manufacturer’s maintenance manual.
  • Notify the Operations Manager of any out of the ordinary damage noted during any phase of the maintenance process.
  • Develops and assists in the development of test fixtures and test procedures for new electronic assemblies.
  • Order correct parts as noted in the illustrated parts listing of the appropriate manual.
  • Correctly document all maintenance forms in accordance with the procedures set forth in this Manual as well as the individual instructions for each form found in the Forms Catalog.
  • Test and troubleshoot warranty and non-warranty repairs as required and assist in fault analysis, corrective action, and customer report documentation.
  • Maintain their respective tools and work area in a clean, orderly fashion.
  • Verify calibration status on all precision tools and test equipment prior to use, and when finding a tool out of calibration notifying the Operations Manager.
  • Document time spent on individual jobs on route sheets and time cards.
  • Adhere to company procedures and policies regarding personnel and quality issues.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
