About The Position

The Assistant Technician provides technical services and semi-technical engineering support across a variety of engineering fields and office specialties. The role includes all aspects of highway construction inspection and ensures construction activities comply with established plans, specifications, and standards. The position may also supervise a small group of semi-skilled personnel performing moderately complex engineering support tasks. Work is performed under general supervision, with responsibility for exercising sound judgment and technical knowledge in carrying out assigned duties.

Requirements

• Education, training, and/or experience in engineering, a technical field, or another related area demonstrating competency in reviewing technical plans, drafting diagrams and reports, collecting data, and analyzing datasets for trends.
