We are looking to add a talented Assistant Technician to our team in the Boise, Idaho area. The Assistant Technician will be involved in several aspects of building control systems related to fire and smoke damper inspections, testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of environmental and HVAC systems performed on air and hydronics equipment. Depending on experience, the Assistant Technician may be asked to take part in the TAB apprenticeship program.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Driver's License with a good record
• Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing background checks and drug screens

• Ability to handle physical workload, working at heights on lifts and ladders

Responsibilities

• Inspection of fire and smoke damper equipment and control systems
• Test, Adjust, and Balance commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with all construction project team members
• Ability to travel, including to sites for several days, primarily in the Pacific Northwest
