About The Position

DeVry Greenhouses is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to join their production team and support day-to-day operations at their Michigan, Holland greenhouse location. This is a hands-on role that assists with coordinating daily production activities, supporting team members on the floor, and helping ensure greenhouse tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized in a fast-paced environment, and leading by example. The Assistant Team Leader will work closely with the Team Leader and Grower to help keep daily operations running smoothly. Nice To Haves

• Ability to speak Spanish is considered an asset.
• Previous greenhouse, agriculture, production, or leadership experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right individual.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Team Leader in overseeing daily tasks within the growing facility.
• Lead small teams to complete urgent jobs and production tasks.
• Support the Team Leader in planning and organizing the week.
• Work closely with the Grower to ensure tasks are completed on time and efficiently.
• Help coordinate team members on the floor and support smooth daily workflow.
• Plan, lead, organize, and control daily activities as needed.
• Support other areas or locations when help is needed.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and productive work environment.
• Lead by example and help maintain high standards for quality and efficiency.
