The Assistant Team Leader – Production is responsible for assisting the Production Team Leader in coordinating the activities for workers engaged in the production process. This includes but is not limited to ensuring production schedules are met, maintaining quality control, and implementing employee safety protocols. The Assistant Team Leader plays a pivotal role in supervising bargaining members, fostering a productive and safe work environment, driving continuous improvement and achieving operational excellence. This role requires excellent verbal and written communication and organization skills, leadership, knowledge of the plant’s operations, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams across the operation.
