About The Position
The Assistant Team Lead role is a great opportunity to expand your leadership experience while supporting daily production operations and helping lead a team of up to 15 employees. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient, and quality-focused operations while building skills for future leadership opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Ability to work a 4 on / 4 off schedule with 12-hour, night shifts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and communication skills
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP
- Critical thinking and sound decision-making
- Technical aptitude and operational knowledge
- Ability to influence and support others
- Focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Food manufacturing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Support and guide production employees to meet daily production goals
- Assist with daily production planning and coordination across departments
- Promote a safe, quality-focused, and team-oriented work environment
- Help drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity
- Troubleshoot production issues and support problem resolution
- Act as backup to the Production Supervisor when needed
