Assistant Teaching Professor - Supply Chain Management
About The Position
The Department of Business Administration in the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay seeks applicants for a teaching faculty position in Supply Chain Management and Logistics to contribute to its growing undergraduate and new Master’s program in Supply Chain Management. The successful candidate will teach courses such as Logistics Management, Advanced Inventory Management and Risks in Supply Chains, Supply Chain and Operations Analytics, Professional Projects, and Advanced Project Management at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business or closely related field, with a specialization in Supply Chain Management and Logistics at time of application
- Significant professional experience in the area of Supply Chain Management and Logistics outside of the higher education sector
- Evidence of a commitment to quality teaching
- Evidence of engagement in institutional, community, and professional endeavors
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term.

- Disciplinary expertise in a professional context within logistics, transportation, or warehousing
- Possessing a combination of previous teaching and practical work experience
- Professional certification related to Supply Chain Management and Logistics
- Knowledge and expertise on supply chain and operations analytics
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with department faculty and staff to develop teaching strategies relevant to the discipline
- May supervise student employees involved in development or delivery of instruction
- Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction, including assessment of student performance
- Advises students on academic and career direction within a specific field of study
- Develops and designs curriculum and instructional material relevant to a course of instruction
- Contributes to the strategic development of curriculum and academic content through various mediums to ensure the integrity of the educational mission of the work unit
- Contributes to the development of teaching and learning scholarly work including publications and presentations
