We are seeking a Childcare Assistant Teacher to join the North Olathe team at New Horizon Academy! We are looking for assistants in the following classrooms: Infants, Toddlers, Twos, Early Preschool, and Float. All applicants MUST have a positive work ethic and a team-centered attitude, be willing to learn and grow as an educator, and enjoy working with children. Previous childcare experience is preferred. We are looking for someone who meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position, has previous experience in Early Childhood Education or a related field of work, must meet position qualification requirements as outlined by the state department guidelines, can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations, can provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States, has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations, and has the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work a flexible, part-time or full-time schedule, Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:30 am - 6:00 pm

Nice To Haves
