About The Position
The Sapling School is seeking a reliable and punctual Assistant Teacher to support our educational team from 6:15 am till 2:15 pm. This part-time role is ideal for someone passionate about fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children in Kendall Park, NJ.
Requirements
- Ability to be reliable and punctual consistently
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm for working with young learners and supporting their growth
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in delivering lesson plans and educational activities
- Supervise and engage with children to ensure a safe and supportive environment
- Help with classroom organization and preparation of materials
- Support students' social, emotional, and academic development
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and staff as needed
- Maintain punctuality and reliability in attendance and responsibilities
