About The Position

The Child Development Center provides high-quality childcare services to children of Baptist Health Lexington employees. The CDC is a play-based learning environment serving children 6 weeks-5 years of age. Assistant Teacher Full-Time Job Requirements: Responsible for planning and implementing activities for young children. Responsible for positive interactions with children, including those in primary grades, while assisting in the maintenance of a safe and nurturing environment in which children can grow physically, emotionally, socially and cognitively. Responsible for the transportation of children when required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Two years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Planning and implementing activities for young children.
• Positive interactions with children, including those in primary grades.
• Assisting in the maintenance of a safe and nurturing environment in which children can grow physically, emotionally, socially and cognitively.
• Transportation of children when required.
