About The Position

The Malvern School is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Preschool classroom at The Malvern School of Malvern, PA. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, career-oriented teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education. The Malvern School is dedicated to educating young children through innovative programming, with a focus on a quality, child-centered philosophy and clean, attractive facilities. The Malvern School curriculum is designed to meet or exceed the standards established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Requirements

High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age
At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility
Must be (or be willing to start) pursuing a CDA (Child Development Associate) OR a degree in the field
