About The Position

The Assistant Teacher plans, directs, and participates in age-appropriate activities that promote children’s intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development. The role helps prepare children for kindergarten by easing them into organized education, using the school’s curriculum. The Assistant Teacher also assists with daily care, including feeding, changing, and nap time, and maintains interactive, open communication with parents and team members through the Classroom Management system.

This is a full-time or part-time position working Monday through Friday. The school describes itself as brand new and offers career growth and in-house training opportunities. Pay is $18.00, based on education and experience.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of experience working in a registered early childhood education institution.
