About The Position

Childtime is hiring an Assistant Teacher to help create a positive, engaging learning environment where children can grow and become lifelong learners. The role supports the daily care of every child, maintains a clean and organized classroom, and helps children learn through interactive activities. The Assistant Teacher also develops skills in observing and assessing children, planning for their needs, and communicating effectively with families. Extensive training is provided on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Engage with children and support their learning and development.
• Observe and assess children, and plan for their needs.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
