About The Position

The Goddard School in Beverly Hills, MI is seeking passionate and energetic Assistant Teachers to join their team. This role involves working with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers in a full-day childcare and preschool environment. The school is committed to providing a safe, dynamic, and nurturing environment where children can develop into joyful, confident learners prepared for success. This is a full-time position with shifts typically lasting nine hours, including a one-hour break (e.g., 8 am to 5 pm). Part-time shifts are also available, requiring availability until 6 pm.

Requirements

• Must be an energetic, nurturing person.
• Must be available for full-time shifts (nine hours with a one-hour break) or part-time shifts including availability up to 6 pm.
• Must be willing to work 40 hours per week for full-time positions.
• Must be able to follow teacher to child ratios.
• Must be able to work with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers in a full-day childcare and preschool environment.

Responsibilities

• Observe children's interests and work with other teachers to develop creative ideas for an engaging curriculum.
• Communicate with parents daily, sharing children's adventures and achievements through various channels, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
• Engage with other infant, toddler, and preschool teachers and continue to grow in the field of early childhood education.
