About The Position

The State Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year old's, based on the needs of each child and the requirements of the program. We are looking for change makers who are curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond. As an Assistant Teacher, you will be caring by following all licensing guidelines, company standards, and grant program requirements to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom. You will be engaged by developing your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families. You will be knowledgeable by completing extensive training that provides insight on child care, preschool, and development topics. You will be creative by implementing curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children. We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals.

Requirements

  • Associates in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related or an active CDA in Preschool.
  • Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field.
  • The ability to meet state requirements for education and our center requirements.
  • Energetic, dependable, passionate individuals.

Responsibilities
