We’re looking for a passionate and caring Assistant Teacher for our 18–24 Months classroom who is fluent in both Spanish and English and ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Experience working with young children in a licensed preschool or childcare setting
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Fluent in Spanish and English, including reading, writing, and speaking
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field OR CDA Certification with 5–10 years of childcare experience OR 2–3 years of Montessori experience
Responsibilities
- Support engaging, hands-on learning experiences using our curriculum and your own creativity
- Provide warm, responsive care and individualized support to children
- Assist with daily classroom routines, activities, and transitions
- Build positive relationships with children and families through daily communication
- Work closely with the Lead Teacher and teaching team to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, and early learning development
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom
