About The Position
The Woodbridge School at Partners in Child Development in Andover, MA is looking for a kind, patient, and engaging full-time Assistant Preschool Teacher. This role involves joining a close-knit, supportive, and dedicated team within a smaller school environment that fosters positive energy and a willingness to help one another. The Woodbridge School program operates Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, on a 12-month calendar. The current opening is in the preschool classroom, requiring 40 hours weekly (M-F) from 8 am – 4 pm.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of previous Assistant Preschool Teacher experience. Toddler and Pre-K experience also considered.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Commitment to caring for the wellbeing of young children.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Satisfactory background check
Responsibilities
- Engage with children ages 18 months to 5 years in play
- Help with classroom activities
- Maintain a clean and neat classroom environment
- Diapering and toileting
