Assistant Teacher
About The Position
The Goddard School in Beverly Hills, MI is seeking full-time assistant teachers to join their team. They are looking for energetic, nurturing individuals passionate about early childhood education and making a positive impact on children's lives. The school provides a safe, dynamic, and nurturing environment for children aged six weeks to six years old, preparing them for success in school and life. The role involves working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a full-day childcare and preschool setting. Full-time positions include a nine-hour shift with an hour break, and part-time positions require availability until 6 pm. Teachers at Goddard Schools work in clean, state-of-the-art facilities with strict health and safety guidelines, develop creative curriculum based on children's interests, communicate daily with parents, and collaborate with other educators for professional growth.
Requirements
- Full time positions consist of a nine hour shift (8 am to 5 pm, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm or 9:00 am to 6:00 pm) with an hour break.
- Part time positions are available, but should include availability up to 6 pm.
- CPR & First Aid Training
- Teacher to child ratios followed
- Full support from our experienced directors and resources to be successful in the classroom

Responsibilities
- Observe children’s interests and work with other teachers to develop creative ideas for an engaging curriculum.
- Communicate with parents daily, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
- Engage with other infant, toddler, and preschool teachers and continue to grow in the field of early childhood education.
