Assistant Teachers at Tutor Time help care for children and inspire them to become lifelong learners. They follow licensing guidelines and company standards, maintain an engaging and organized classroom, develop skills in observing and assessing children and planning for their needs, communicate with families, and complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to accurately observe and assess children and plan for their needs.
• Effectively communicate with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.
