About The Position
The Goddard School of Cumming is seeking a dependable, caring Assistant Teacher to help support their classrooms during the afternoon and closing hours. This part-time role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children, are team players, and want to make a difference every day. The position involves engaging and supervising children in a safe, nurturing environment, assisting with afternoon activities, playground time, snacks, and classroom routines, and helping to keep classrooms clean and organized.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Reliable, positive, and caring
- Must pass all required background checks
- Must be 18
Nice To Haves
- Childcare experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Engage and supervise children in a safe, nurturing environment
- Assist with afternoon activities, playground time, snacks, and classroom routines
- Help keep classrooms clean, organized, and ready for the next day
