About The Position

The Malvern School is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Preschool classroom at The Malvern School of Westtown. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, with a schedule of either 8:30 am - 5:30 pm or 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. The role involves assisting in the implementation of a superior Early Childhood Education program, maintaining a safe, healthy, and educational environment, and communicating regularly with parents.

Requirements

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age
• At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) months of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility
• Must be (or be willing to start) pursuing a CDA (Child Development Associate) OR a degree in the field
