About The Position
This position is for an Assistant Teacher in Special Education (SPED) for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves supporting instruction in reading/language arts and mathematics.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or above; OR at least 48 hours of earned college credit; OR passing scores for the Work Keys test.
- Proficiency in reading and writing skills.
- Demonstrated interest in and a positive attitude toward the duties and responsibilities of an instructional assistant.
- Must pass a criminal background check as prescribed by state statute.
Responsibilities
- Provide instructional assistance in reading/language arts and mathematics.
- Support students with special educational needs.
