About The Position
This position is for an Assistant Teacher specializing in Special Education (SPED) and School Counselor (SC) roles. The employment is for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year, spanning 187 days per school year.
Requirements
- Must possess an Associate's Degree or above; or must have at least 48 hours of earned college credit; or must provide passing scores for the Work Keys test
- Proficiency in skills of reading, and writing
- Demonstrated interest in and a positive attitude toward the duties and responsibilities required to perform as an instructional assistant for teaching reading/language arts and mathematics
- Must pass criminal background check as prescribed by state statute
