About The Position
This position is for an Assistant Teacher in a PreK Special Education setting for the 2026-2027 School Year, which is 187 days per school year. The role involves assisting in the instruction of reading/language arts and mathematics.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or above; OR at least 48 hours of earned college credit; OR passing scores (Silver Certificate) for the Work Keys test for Assistant Teachers.
- Proficiency in skills of reading and writing.
- Demonstrated interest in and a positive attitude toward the duties and responsibilities required to perform as an instructional assistant for teaching reading/language arts and mathematics.
- Must pass a criminal background check as prescribed by state statute.
