About The Position

This position is for an Assistant Teacher / Kindergarten for the remainder of the 2026-2027 School Year, working 187 days per school year. The role requires proficiency in reading and writing skills, and a demonstrated interest in and positive attitude toward the duties and responsibilities of an instructional assistant, specifically in teaching reading/language arts and mathematics. A criminal background check is required.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or above; or at least 48 hours of earned college credit; or passing scores for the Work Keys test (Silver Certificate).
• Proficiency in skills of reading, and writing.
• Demonstrated interest in and a positive attitude toward the duties and responsibilities required to perform as an instructional assistant for teaching reading/language arts and mathematics.
• Must pass criminal background check as prescribed by state statute.
