About The Position
We’re looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic individual to join our team as an Assistant Teacher for Infants. This role involves supervising and ensuring the safety of children, supporting their development, assisting with classroom management, and communicating with parents and staff. The ideal candidate has a passion for working with children and making a positive impact.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Early childhood coursework is a plus
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
- Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development
- Assist with classroom organization and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and fellow staff
- Feed infants and assist with daily care routines
- Change diapers in accordance with established procedures
- Foster a positive, respectful, and engaging learning environment
