About The Position

The Assistant Teacher I will support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This role involves assisting with daily activities, lesson plans, and maintaining open communication with parents and guardians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience working with children is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
• Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for all children.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
